A little bit of why I do the way I do

I work with soluble salts because of the watercolor qualities they offer. Photos never do justice, the softness and blurriness of the color is never captured entirely, the sensuality of it, combined with the softness of the porcelain, can only be truly appreciated by the naked eye, and the intimacy with the object can only be attained by feeling the piece with your own skin.

Although often unpredictable, with practice and error, sometimes I can achieve somewhat controlled results, like the degraded pink in this wine cup. So simple, yet so intricate
